Can I block anonymous inbound calls?

Anonymous calls can be blocked using call screening feature. Please follow the instructions below:

1. Open the configuration page of an account. Under the Service Configuration -> Incoming Calls, enable the Call Screening option and save the changes.

2. Under the Voice Calls -> Incoming Calls tab set the default answering mode of the account to Reject. 3. Under the Call Screening tab create a rule containing the following list of CLIs (the From field):

0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, 7%, 8%, 9%

The rule should have the following settings:

  • To => ANYWHERE
  • Time Window => ANYTIME
  • Action => the desired answering mode (e.g., Ring, Forward then Voicemail).

Once these steps are complete, the account will be able to receive calls only from numeric CLIs while calls from anonymous or blocked CLIs will be rejected.
