There are no strict requirements, however, accounts should be unique across the environment. Our customers usually use the following naming conventions when they add 'private' DIDs: Let's assume that the customer's main DID number is 123456789
- All 'private' DIDs have the same prefix, usually it's '020'. It is convenient, so that your 'private' accounts do not interfere with actual PSTN destinations.
- After the prefix, you can add the customer's main DID.
- After the DID they add the extension that will be assigned to the account.
As a result for the extension 100, we will have the following account ID: 020123456789100.
