Can I have the main IVR menu played only during business hours and at night play a different message?

Yes, you can do this by creating an additional 'After hours' menu and upload the after hours prompt there.


As soon as that step is complete, please define the active period for the ROOT menu.  (Please keep in mind that the account timezone will be taken into consideration.)


Finally, choose the 'After Hours' menu action for the 'Not active' event in the ROOT menu.
