Fax: Do you support sending faxes via email? Can I charge my customers for this service?

Yes, please follow the steps below:

  • Create a new account (or add an alias to the existing one with 'Allow authentication/registration' enabled) with the ID that contains 'fax' (e.g., fax123456789).
  • Add the email address which you plan to use to send faxes (note, you can specify several emails separated by comma. It is also possible to authorize the whole domain, ask Support for details) under the Account Info tab.
  • Send a PDF document to email2fax@<your UM domain> specifying the destination in the email subject.

In addition, your customers can send PDF (or JPG) files from their self-care interface.

After fax is delivered/not delivered, the system will send an email with results to the originator's email address.
